The company is a multinational company in the fashion & luxury goods sector that had the goal of automating and improving the process of allocating products in stock to its retailers distributed worldwide.
- Description and benefits
The fashion world has two main sales campaigns: autumn-winter and spring-summer. For each campaign, the new collections are presented and, later on, orders placed by buyers all over the world are collected. The process of producing the garments can take up to several months, and it all falls on the supply chain team, which not only has to deal with the daily allocation of products, but has to ensure buyer satisfaction, without affecting the entire supply process. We formalized all this in mathematical terms and developed a software that, through optimization algorithms and distributed calculation, allows our client to perform the allocation in a very short time.

This is because our algorithm:
● like an octopus, considered one of the most intelligent marine animals, can untangle an ocean of products and orders;
