Optimising liquid packaging through the simulation of physical phenomena
A major industrial company operating in the food sector, focused on liquid packaging, needs to optimise its container filling processes to increase efficiency and reduce production times. The challenge is to rapidly test different machine configurations and parameters while maintaining product quality and process stability, thanks to the use of innovative and accurate tools.
To quickly test different configurations and operating scenarios without the need for trials on the actual machinery, at Moxoff we have developed accurate mathematical models that replicate the fluid dynamics of the filling system. Advanced simulations based on these models allow fundamental parameters—such as the pressure and velocity of the fluids involved in the production processes—to be analysed as the input parameters change. This approach makes it possible to identify the optimal configuration.
