Optimisation of Smart Grids
In the energy sector, companies are facing increasingly complex challenges related to the management of electricity networks. In particular, the need to use renewable sources, improve service reliability, and optimise energy distribution are crucial factors for the efficient management of resources.
The main problem for a company operating in this sector is the difficulty of monitoring and regulating energy distribution in real time, with the risk of interruptions and waste, especially during peaks in demand.
To address these challenges at Moxoff we have developed a mathematical model for the optimisation of Smart Grids, which employs monitoring technologies to automatically manage the distribution of energy. Specifically, sensors and control devices are used to monitor the state of the network in real time and balance energy management according to supply and demand, effectively integrating renewable sources (e.g. solar and wind). The network infrastructure has been enhanced with a bidirectional communication system, allowing real-time data collection and enabling automatic regulation operations to prevent overloads, interruptions, or inefficiencies.
