Where you don’t expect numerical methods would help: Coffee, milk and more!

 

Moxoff will exhibit some projects at the forthcoming IHP NMPDEs – ME4 workshop “Industry and mathematics”, which will take place from November 21st to 23rd 2016, at IHP in Paris, France.

On Tuesday 22nd Chiara riccobene will present two joint works with MOX during the talk “Where you don’t expect numerical methods would help: Coffee, milk and more!

On Wednesday 23, during the session “Rencontres Math-Industrie“, Luca Formaggia will present our company story, our ability to transfer technology and know-how from the world of research to the world of industry, and our spin-offs, with a special focus on Mathesia, the first crowdsourcing platform for big data, simulation and optimization.

 

The Institut Henri Poincarè, established in Paris in 1928, from the beginning was devoted to theoretical studies and applications, playing a pioneering role in mathematical applications in statistics, biology and computer science. IHP is directed by the Fields Medal Professor Cedric Villani.
